New Paltz Town Court receives a fair volume of speeding and traffic matters from I-87. Criminal matters are handled by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office. A special prosecutor handles tickets issued by NY State Troopers. Holley Carnright is the current elected District Attorney and his term runs through 2015.
